Support a New Veterinary School at Texas Tech

Solve Texas' Unmet Veterinary Needs

Rural and agricultural communities in Texas need more veterinarians, and Texas Tech University is working to establish a second veterinary school in the state to meet that demand and offer more educational opportunities for Texas veterinary students.

For a state of our size, it is unusual that Texas currently only has one veterinary school. Establishing a School of Veterinary Medicine at Texas Tech will solve the unmet veterinary needs of our state and ensure healthy herds for food security and safety.

Supporters from across the entire state are stepping up to support this vision and have asked how to help ensure it becomes a reality. is a grassroots effort answering that call.
